Learn how to utilize content marketing and marketing automation to increase sales and improve business outcomes—at ITEXPO next week (Feb. 8-10) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Your business will benefit from attendance at ITEXPO regardless of your vertical. The show will highlight the latest developments in the technology and communications sector. It’s the perfect way to keep your finger on the pulse of the industry.
Day one of ITEXPO West 2015, taking place throughout October 8 in beautiful Anaheim, California, started off with a bang with the help of Content Boost. Our Director of Brand Strategy, Allison Boccamazzo offered top insights and tips earlier today on how to make “content fireworks” during her first workshop entitled “Content Marketing: What It is And Why You Need It Now.”
During an intimate and interactive session, Boccamazzo drove home the importance of adopting a strategic content marketing strategy, which she aptly described as an integrated marketing strategy that involves crafting and sharing relevant, customized copy to drive profitability and brand awareness.
During the workshop attendees learned, for example, that content marketing costs 62 percent less than traditional marketing tactics (i.e. radio and television ads, billboards) and generates about three times as many leads. In other words, content marketing is an organization’s best bet for raising brand awareness and increasing lead generation—without breaking the bank.
As the Northeast experiences reportedly one of the worst snow storms in the region’s history, our team kicked off Content Boost’s highly-anticipated Content Marketing Workshops today at ITEXPO 2015, taking place now through January 30 in sunny Miami, Florida.
Our team returned for Content Boost’s second annual workshop series after a rousing debut at last year’s event. This year’s series, consisting of three half-hour workshop presentations, offers compelling new market research, fresh new use cases, and a comprehensive four-week plan that attendees can leverage to get their content marketing strategies immediately off the ground post-event.
Can I just say I love having Wi-Fi on a flight? At some 10,000 feet in the air, I decided it would be the perfect opportunity to talk to all of you about what’s on the Content Boost road map for this week. As you read this, I am en route to sunny Miami with several members of the Content Boost team to attend TMC’s biannual technology and communications convention, ITEXPO.
I know what you are thinking… how the heck did we get in the air from New York when 5,000 flights were grounded by 11 a.m.? Well it took an hour on the tarmac to de-ice the plane, a TON of anxiety-ridden conversations and a lot of patience and we were on our way. #ThankYouDelta.
So we racked our brains trying to discern what topics would be most relevant for attendees at the biannual trade show. We searched for the latest market research to weave into our three presentations, and we started marketing these workshops like crazy to drive attendance.
Right around the time Content Boost started holding content marketing breakouts, keynotes and panels at various trade shows—including our very own ITEXPO events—we got asked the same question by many attendees: do we ever hold seminars or training courses throughout the year? The short answer was no, but the long answer was… not yet.
Quickly, we started to pick up on a very common trend in the industry: people did not want to have to wait until conferences or trade shows to receive best-in-class content marketing training. Perhaps more importantly, they didn’t want to have to pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars for one-off seminars. Instead, they wanted a way to stay current with the latest industry trends and strategies for improving upon their existing marketing efforts.
What a productive and inspiring week our Content Boost team just experienced at TMC’s ITEXPO 2014 in Las Vegas—the largest and longest-running B2B trade show, and your source for business technology innovation and trends. We were thrilled to be there and experience the scope of event offerings—from networking with leaders from multiple industries to gleaning the knowledge shared by executives from AARP, American Cancer Society, AT&T, iRobot, Schmooze and others. We hope you were there with us last week to gather insights into the information and communication technology market, attend educational workshops and hear all of the exciting keynote speakers. My first instinct was to call this post, “Everything I learned at My First ITEXPO,” but I quickly realized that touching on all the information I took in during our trip to Las Vegas would likely require 10,000 words. (Quick reminder, Content Boost’s parent company TMC sponsors ITEXPO, a biannual trade show in Miami and Vegas each year.)
So rather than try to recap four whirlwind days, I figured I’d instead touch on some of the highlights. To help me better organize my thoughts—I’m still catching up on sleep—I broke my ITEXPO education into categories:
Today officially kicks off the first day of ITEXPO 2014, and the excitement and energy are palpable. Attendees are flooding registration to collect their badges; the TMC team is running around feverishly to make sure opening day sessions—including the Smart Voice Conference and M2M Evolution—go off without a hitch; and Editor’s Day is in full swing as the Content Boost and TMCnet editors meet with various companies to hear their unique company stories.
If you’re already in Vegas and looking to take advantage of each and every minute, I hope you will join me as I lead our Content Boost-sponsored content marketing workshops, taking place today from 2:30-5 pm PT. Here’s a look at the lineup for today’s sessions:
For those of you who’ve attended one of TMC’s ITEXPO events, chances are you’re spending the next few days resting up, charging the tablet and resting your voice in preparation of four dynamic, informative, action-packed conference days. That’s because ITEXPO is a nonstop event filled with countless breakout sessions, keynote presentations and networking opportunities. So rest up now!
