If you’ve been keeping up with the blog here at Content Boost, then you know just how much companies stand to benefit from content marketing, or creating and sharing relevant, customized, insightful copy with the end goal of helping a company bolster brand awareness and drive profitability.
Consider that already in 2014, 93 percent of B2B marketers—including your competitors—leverage content marketing, according to the Content Marketing Institute (CMI). This is of course a great start, but it doesn’t stop there. Embracing the content marketing model is only the first step; the second step involves creating a comprehensive, fully baked strategy.
While a huge chunk of marketers are elevating their awareness of content marketing, only 44 percent of these marketers have a documented content strategy in place, CMI adds. Simply put, you can’t afford to be in the seven percent of companies not benefiting from this integrated marketing strategy. And even if you are embracing content marketing, you can’t risk being part of the majority of businesses that lack a formal strategy for streamlining success.
This is the central theme of “How Content Marketing Wins Customers,” an exclusive panel session being held during ITEXPO East 2014, taking place in Miami from January 27-31 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
