‘Twas the Night Before the Content Marketing Crash Course

IMG_20141204_134926211Today feels like Christmas Eve. Though we don’t have stockings hung, Christmas trees lit or holiday music blasting from the radio in our office, exhilaration and anticipation are in the air here at Content Boost—and I can promise you a number of us will be awake all night long with unbridled excitement for tomorrow.

That’s because tomorrow, April 21st, we will hold our second iteration of our Content Marketing Crash Course, designed to present marketers with the opportunity to talk content marketing, complete with trade tips and tricks from seasoned professionals. We held our inaugural crash course last December, and the standing-room only attendance and riveting marketing discussions confirmed that we had to hold another event this year.

Our Content Boost team is incredibly busy today between putting the finishing touches on presentation slide decks, preparing the room for the 75 attendees who have registered, and printing out attendee booklets filled with countless content marketing best practices. (There’s still time to save your seat! Click here to reserve your spot for the complimentary event.) We may not have eggnog or snowman-shaped cookies but I promise you, it feels like Santa is coming tomorrow.

  • Make the Most Out of the Day: There are plenty of opportunities tomorrow to solicit advice from the leading professionals at Content Boost. So make the most out of your day! In addition to grabbing a front row seat for the five mini-breakout sessions, sign up for all three bonus opportunities: a brand assessment, a video branding interview and small group discussions. We can’t wait to meet with you one-on-one to discuss your biggest marketing hurdles.
  • Come Ready to Chat: Our December bunch was a chatty one and we have high hopes for this group, so come ready to engage in meaningful dialogue. Whether it’s asking questions after the breakouts or contributing to our small group discussions about blogging, social media and lead generation, make your thoughts heard. Have a great marketing tip? Share it with us! This event is all about open dialogue.
  • Leave With a Plan: The day will be chock-full of marketing takeaways—like how to get started with your first blog entry and how to get the boss to say “yes” to content marketing. So make sure to write down three things you plan on doing next week after attending. It may be something small, like take a look at your competitor’s blog to see what they do well. Or it may be a bit more comprehensive like decide whether it makes sense to use a co-sourcing model when it comes to content creation.

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow. In the meantime, enjoy the milk and cookies and get your marketing mind open for tomorrow’s seminar. Please feel free to reach out to me with any additional questions!

Carrie-SDubbed a “Chatty Cathy” from the time she uttered her first word, Content Boost’s Director of Content Marketing Carrie Majewski (née Schmelkin) is nothing short of verbal. Her love of talking matured into love of writing which inevitably transformed into a love of marketing. Carrie is responsible for overseeing the cutting-edge content marketing beast that is Content Boost—managing brand and editorial strategy, fostering client relationships, identifying new revenue opportunities and striking strategic partnerships. Carrie has worked with a variety of high profile clients on branding and copy creation from Sprint to Panasonic to AT&T to Emerson Network Power. When she’s not busy wordsmithing and debating content marketing versus traditional marketing, you can find her working on her swag in a hip-hop dance class, clogging her DVR with “Friends” reruns and trying desperately to make it up past 9:30 pm on the weekends with her hubby. #OldSoul.
